What do students get in the package?

In order to be accepted to study medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine in Europe, the candidates should undergo an examination (written, oral or combined) in the following subjects: biology, chemestry, anatomy, biology, physiology and physics in the English language. The majority of candidates do not have sufficient knowledge in these subjects and those who did study these subjects in highschool are generally familiar with the professional terms only in Hebrew. The preparatory course was established in order to adress this gap providing a high quality course which was designed to fully fit the Israeli student’s needs in front of the requirements of the European faculties.

Our preparatory is an intensive course at an academic level, aimed to teach the wide and most important base of knowledge to both successfully pass the admission exam to any medical faculty as well as to easily overcome the first two year (the most difficult ones) of medical studies.

The course combines frontal lectures transmitted according to the unique teaching school developed by our institute, while applying the knowledge learned in the lectures by practicing questionnaires and routine examinations throughout the course.

Every pre-clinical topic will be linked to a clinical subject (a disease, syndrome, mechanism of action of a certain medication), In order to create a link between the pre-clinical notions and how they are applied in the clinical practice.

The lectures are delivered in English, unlike others institutes in the field, insuring the implementation of medical terms in English, Latin and Greek, the three languages that make the center of medical terminology.

Of course such a significant step-up in the common use of the English language to the Israeli student, will be supported in explanations in Hebrew. Our past experience has shown without any doubt that the level of English is improving significantly, during the first lessons in the course.

We always encourage our students to switch as quickly as possible, to use English as their main language during the course, as required in medical schools in Europe.

Due to the fact that the courses have a limited number of students in each group, our teachers perform daily evaluation of the personal needs of each student. The preparatory teachers are current medical students, about to graduate from medical faculties in Europe, and therefore there is no one more suitable then them to teach the future generation of medical students, to accommodate the academic needs and their personal advancement in the medical world.
